Meena & Isaac | Winchester Vista Wedding Film

Some wedding films have that extra something special, the kind where the emotions run deep, the moments feel effortless, and the story stays with you long after the day is over. This wedding, which closed out 2026, was one of our favorites.
The mother of the bride first reached out about a year before the date, but wasn’t quite ready to book. Then, about two months before the wedding, she emailed to ask if we were still available, and thankfully, we were.
The best part? Wedding videography was a complete surprise for the bride and groom. Because of that, we weren’t able to connect with them beforehand, which made the day even more memorable. When they realized we were there to capture it all, they were genuinely surprised and incredibly thankful, and it made the celebration that much more meaningful to film.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How long are your wedding highlight films typically?

Our wedding highlight films are typically 10 to 15 minutes long. This length allows us to tell a complete story of your day with enough time to fully experience each portion of the wedding. Films are usually structured into four parts: pre-wedding moments, ceremony and couples portraits, cocktail hour, and reception coverage including dances, toasts, cake cutting, and end-of-the-night dancing.

  2. Do you always record the full ceremony and speeches?

Our wedding highlight films are typically 10 to 15 minutes long. This length allows us to tell a complete story of your day with enough time to fully experience each portion of the wedding. Films are usually structured into four parts: pre-wedding moments, ceremony and couples portraits, cocktail hour, and reception coverage including dances, toasts, cake cutting, and end-of-the-night dancing.

  3. What is your typical turnaround time for wedding films?

Wedding films are delivered approximately 30 days after your wedding. We have found this timing creates the best viewing experience, allowing the initial rush of the day to settle so you can truly relive and appreciate the memories when you watch your film.

  4. Can couples request specific songs or music styles?

Absolutely. We pay close attention to the music used throughout your wedding day, such as the processional, recessional, first dance, and reception songs, to understand your style and vibe. If you have a specific song you want used in your wedding film, simply let us know before the wedding and we will include it in your first edit. In some cases, we may even create a custom song inspired by your vows as a surprise.

  5. How far in advance do couples usually book you?

Most couples book 9–15 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates (spring through fall). Booking early ensures availability and allows time to plan your ideal coverage.

  6. Do you charge travel fees within Northern California?

We only charge travel fees if the wedding location is more than three and a half hours from the Sacramento area. If we can travel to and from your venue within the same day, there is no travel fee.

  7. Do you offer both photography and videography together?

Yes. We offer both wedding photography and wedding videography. Photography coverage typically includes one photographer, with the option to add a second photographer for an additional fee depending on availability.

  8. Can couples customize packages or add coverage?

Yes. We offer limited customization options. For example, couples who choose the Standard Wedding Videography Package can add full ceremony recording without upgrading to the Full Package. Because we book full-day coverage, there is no need to add extra hours.

  9. How many videographers are typically present on a wedding day?

All wedding videography coverage is filmed by a solo videographer using multiple cameras. This allows us to stay flexible, unobtrusive, and capture multiple angles while maintaining a consistent visual style.

  10. How do couples receive their final wedding film?

Final wedding films are delivered through a private download link on the Frame.io platform. This allows you to stream your films, download high-resolution files, and leave comments if you would like adjustments such as song changes or specific footage requests.

  11. Do you work with wedding planners and photographers?

Absolutely. We collaborate closely with photographers, planners, and coordinators to ensure smooth timelines, ideal lighting, and seamless coverage without disrupting the flow of your wedding day.

  12. What makes your wedding films different from other videographers?

What truly sets our wedding films apart is the experience you have on your wedding day. Weddings are live events with many moving parts, and unexpected things can happen. We approach every wedding with calm, care, humor, and professionalism so you can stay present and enjoy your day. Our goal is to handle challenges quietly behind the scenes and ensure you remember only the best moments while receiving a film that reflects the heart of your story.

  13. How much does a wedding videographer cost in Sacramento?

Wedding videography in Sacramento typically ranges from $2,500–$6,000+, depending on coverage length, film style, and deliverables. Full-day cinematic wedding films with professional audio and editing provide the most complete storytelling experience.

  14. What is included in full-day wedding videography coverage?

Full-day wedding videography usually includes coverage from getting ready through the final reception events, multiple cameras, professional audio recording, and a cinematic highlight film that captures the full story of your day.

  15. Do you film weddings outside of Sacramento?

Yes. While based in Sacramento, we regularly film weddings throughout Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Davis, Napa, Lake Tahoe, and Northern California. Travel options are available for destination weddings as well.

  16. What is a cinematic wedding film?

A cinematic wedding film focuses on storytelling, emotion, and pacing, using professional camera movement, color grading, and carefully edited audio from vows and speeches to create a film that feels like a movie — not a simple event recap.
