Yes. Engagement sessions, surprise proposals, and couples portraits are some of our most popular photography services. These sessions are relaxed, fun, and focused on capturing natural connection while creating beautiful images you can use for announcements, invitations, and wall art.

At this time, we offer family portrait photography but do not specialize in maternity or newborn photography. Our focus is on couples, families, weddings, and lifestyle-driven portrait sessions.

Yes. We provide professional event photography for quinceañeras, birthday parties, corporate events, celebrations, and private gatherings throughout Northern California and Western Nevada.

Absolutely. We love photographing elopements and micro-weddings. Whether it’s a small ceremony with just a few guests or an intimate destination elopement, we approach these days with the same care and attention as full weddings.

Focus Video is based in Sacramento, California and serves the greater Northern California region, including Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley, the Bay Area, Placerville, and surrounding areas, as well as Western Nevada.

Yes. As long as travel allows us to return the same day (roughly within four hours one way from Sacramento), there is no travel fee.

Travel fees only apply for locations more than four hours one way from Sacramento.

Our style is documentary-driven with a cinematic touch. We focus on real moments, authentic emotion, and true-to-life color while creating images that feel timeless and natural.

Yes. For posed portraits, we provide gentle guidance and direction so you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

For weddings and events, the majority of your gallery will be candid imagery that captures the real atmosphere, emotions, and interactions of the day, with time set aside for posed portraits when desired.

We do not place a hard cap on delivered images. All keeper photos are included. A full wedding with reception typically receives 800–900 edited images.

All photos are delivered through a private online gallery using Pixieset.

Yes. All images are delivered in full resolution.

At this time, we do not offer in-house prints or albums, but you receive full printing rights to order from any lab of your choice.

Yes. Wedding clients receive approximately 10 sneak peek photos within 24 hours.

Wedding photos and videos are delivered within 30 days. We intentionally allow time so you can experience the day, then relive it again with fresh eyes.

Portrait and event galleries are typically delivered within one week.

Absolutely. Let us know your vision in the contact form and we can design a custom solution.

Earlier is always better, but a few days notice works for most non-wedding sessions, and at least one week for weddings avoids rush fees.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve all portrait and event sessions.
