Wedding Story

Kevin and Nhien’s wedding day was a full, joy filled celebration honoring family, culture, and tradition from morning until night. Their traditional Vietnamese wedding unfolded across multiple locations and ceremonies, each carrying deep meaning and symbolism.

The day began with a Lễ Vu Quy at Nhien’s parents’ home, where family gathered to formally ask for the bride’s hand in marriage. This intimate ceremony set the tone for a day centered on respect, unity, and gratitude. From there, everyone traveled to Kim Quang Temple for a Buddhist ceremony, a peaceful and spiritual moment where prayers and blessings were offered over the couple as they began their marriage.

Next came the Lễ Thành Hôn at Kevin’s parents’ home, marking the official joining of two families. Surrounded by loved ones, Kevin and Nhien participated in traditional rituals that reflected generations of heritage and commitment.

After completing the formal ceremonies, we headed to the Capitol Rose Garden in downtown Sacramento for romantic portraits. The quiet garden paths and blooming roses provided a calm pause before the evening celebration.

The day concluded with a lively reception at Asian Pearl Restaurant, filled with speeches, laughter, and nonstop celebration. Kevin and Nhien chose a full documentary style approach, allowing every meaningful moment to be captured as it naturally unfolded.
