It was the first perfect day in October, not too hot, not too cool and I was driving about 45 minutes south of Sacramento to go and film my first wedding client. They had seen an ad I placed on Craigslist looking to get that first real wedding client with a discounted rate from what most videographers charge.
We connected and they decided to book me for their wedding.
The venue was beautiful! It’s this large ranch that has built a big wedding business, with a great outdoors area for the ceremony and a covered dining area for the reception. They even had cabins for some of the wedding party and some guests to stay the night if they wanted to. Really a top-level venue.
Their photographer and I met and started making our way through the day capturing moments and making sure we didn’t get in each other’s way. By the end of the night, I was exhausted in the best of ways, there’s something so special about being invited into those special moments.
